Golf simulator booking
A simulator is an expensive room that earns nothing while it sits empty — and empties fastest when booking it means phoning the shop. Caddyio lets members book a bay by the hour from the app they already use, and gives your team a diary that shows exactly when the room is spoken for.

Nobody books a simulator for 30 minutes. Bookings run across consecutive slots up to a limit you set, and availability is checked across every slot the booking covers — so a two-hour booking can't be taken when only the first hour is free.

The months when the course is unplayable are the months the simulator should be earning. Making it bookable from the same app members already have turns dark evenings into visits, food and drink, and a reason not to let the membership lapse in February.
The room stops being double-booked
One diary, visible to every member of staff, with the last bay held under a lock so two people cannot take it at the same moment. That is a smaller problem than it sounds until the day two fourballs arrive for the same hour.

- Can members book a simulator for two hours?
- Yes. You set the slot length and how many consecutive slots one booking may take. Availability is checked across every slot the booking covers, so a two-hour booking is only offered when both hours are actually free.
- Do simulator bookings need approving?
- That's your choice, per facility. Automatic confirmation is the default because most bays don't need a human; switch it off and every booking arrives as a request in the same way tee times do.
- Can a group book one simulator?
- Yes. You set the maximum number of players per bay, and the booking records how many are coming, so staff know whether it's one member practising or a fourball in for the evening.
- Does it capture launch-monitor or shot data from the simulator?
- Not today. Caddyio books and prices the room; it doesn't yet read data out of your simulator hardware. Members do log shots during real rounds, and those already reach the club professional as shot maps and per-club distances.
- Can I run a range and simulators side by side?
- Yes — they're the same system with different settings, so a club can run a floodlit range on half-hour slots and two simulators on hourly slots, each with its own bays, prices and rules.
