This Privacy Policy explains how Caddyio(“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal data when golf clubs and their members use our platform. By using Caddyio you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

• Account data — name, email and the club(s) you belong to or administer.
• Play data — rounds, scores, handicaps and tournament results you record.
• Location data — GPS position during a live round, only while you are actively scoring, to power the course map and wallboard.
• Usage data — basic technical logs (device, browser, IP) needed to run and secure the service.

How we use it

• To provide live scoring, leaderboards, course maps and member history.
• To let your club administer membership and run tournaments.
• To secure the platform, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
• To communicate service and account information (e.g. confirmation emails).

Sharing

Your play data is visible to clubs you belong to and, for tournaments and wallboards, to other spectators of that club. We do not sell personal data. We use trusted processors (e.g. hosting, database and email providers) under appropriate agreements.

Your rights

You may access, correct or delete your personal data, and object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@caddyio.com.

Retention

We keep your round history for as long as your account is active so it travels with you across clubs. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
