One-page summary

Caddyio for your club

Golf club management software for UK and Ireland clubs. Charged to the club from £99 a month; members are free, with no per-member fees and no commission on tee times.

What it is

  • One platform covering the tee sheet, competitions, scoring, membership records and the member app, instead of four systems from four suppliers.
  • A member area carrying the club's own name, colours and domain — not a shared network app with other clubs and advertising in it.
  • A live GPS wallboard for the clubhouse showing players moving over a satellite map of the club's own course.
  • Coaching tools for the professional: lessons, shared notes, goals and shot maps drawn on the club's own holes.

What it costs

One subscription charged to the club, starting at £99 a month. What a particular club pays depends on how many courses it has and which parts it turns on, and is quoted directly. It does not depend on the number of members, and it never will: there are no per-member fees and no commission on bookings.

What changes for members

  • Nothing to install. It runs in the phone browser and can be added to the home screen.
  • Free for every member, with no advertising and no paid upgrade — the club pays, members never do.
  • Book a tee time, score a round, see the leaderboard and check standings in one place.
  • Every member can export or delete everything the club holds on them, from their own settings.

What to be aware of

Stated plainly, because a committee will find these out anyway.

  • It is not the official WHS handicap record. Caddyio tracks an indicative Handicap Index for the handicap secretary to export and submit through the club's existing union route.
  • It does not do EPOS or till. The bar and pro-shop systems stay where they are.
  • It has no tee-time marketplace, so it will not fill empty visitor times. Clubs relying on marketplace demand usually keep it and run Caddyio alongside.
  • Card payments are off by default and enabled on request; the settled routes today are payment at the counter and pre-paid corporate rounds.

Next step

The usual first step is not a purchase. Clubs run one part of Caddyio — typically the clubhouse wallboard or a single competition — alongside their existing systems for a month. Nothing is migrated to start, and nothing breaks if they stop.
